The Non-Toxic Promise

Clean that does not cost you air quality.

If it would not be safe to use near our own daughters, it is not in your home.

What we use

For everyday cleaning we use Branch Basics, a plant-based concentrate designed to be safe for infants, pets, and chemically sensitive households. For disinfection we use Force of Nature, a Hypochlorous-acid-based disinfectant that is hospital-grade effective and gentle enough for food-prep zones, kids’ rooms, and pet areas. Scent-free. Residue-free. No synthetic fragrance. Every surface, every floor, every appliance.

What we refuse to use

There is a specific list of ingredients and product types that will never enter your home when our team is cleaning:

We also avoid "eco-friendly" products that still contain synthetic fragrance or ambiguous ingredient disclosure. "Green" is not a standard; "non-toxic with documented ingredient lists" is.

Why HEPA changes everything

Conventional vacuums stir up as much as they pick up. Microscopic particles, the size range that actually triggers asthma and allergies, get recirculated back into the air. Our medical-grade HEPA vacuums capture particles down to 0.3 microns, which covers the vast majority of dust mite debris, pet dander, pollen, and mold spore fragments.

For families where one member has asthma, severe allergies, or is immunocompromised, this single detail changes the indoor air quality of a home more than any other cleaning choice we make.

Conventional cleaning

  • Bleach and ammonia for disinfection
  • Synthetic fragrance to mask chemical odors
  • Vacuums that recirculate allergens
  • Chemical residue that lingers for hours or days
  • Unsafe for newborns, pets, and chemo patients without airing out

Clean & Conscious Co.

  • Plant-based concentrates with published ingredients
  • Zero added fragrance, zero masking scents
  • Medical-grade HEPA vacuums trap particles at 0.3 microns
  • No chemical residue, safe to re-enter immediately
  • Safe for infants, pregnancy, chemo patients, allergies, asthma, and MCS

Our Standards

We hold ourselves to public, third-party safety standards.

When we say "non-toxic," we mean it the way these organizations mean it. These are the same standards we use to vet every product and protocol we bring into your home.

EPA Safer Choice

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Safer Choice program certifies cleaning products that meet strict criteria for chemical safety to human health and the environment. Every product we use meets or exceeds these standards.

Environmental Working Group

EWG's Guide to Healthy Cleaning rates thousands of cleaning products on health and environmental impact. We cross-reference every product on our shelf against their ratings before we put it in your home.

HEPA Certification (DOE)

Our HEPA filtration meets the U.S. Department of Energy standard: 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns. This is the same specification required in hospital cleanrooms, not a marketing claim.
