It contains drywall gypsum, sawdust fragments, adhesive residues, and paint particulates that settle into every surface and recirculate for months if not properly removed. Our post-construction cleaning uses medical-grade HEPA vacuums and plant-based chemistry to reset the space so you can move in and breathe.

What does a post-construction clean remove that I can't do myself?

Fine particulate. Drywall dust, sawdust, masonry dust, and spray-paint vapor condensate settle into every soft surface, every HVAC filter, and every textured ceiling. A standard vacuum redistributes it. Our HEPA vacuums at 0.3 microns actually trap it. That is the structural difference, your vacuum cannot match hospital-grade filtration.

Do I need this if it was just a small renovation (one room)?

Not always. For a single bathroom remodel we recommend a deep clean of the room plus HEPA-vacuum passes on soft surfaces in adjoining rooms. For kitchen renovations, whole-house drywall work, or any job that generated visible dust outside the worked area, yes, post-construction scope is the right call.

How soon after the contractor leaves should you come?

Ideally within 48-72 hours. Construction dust settles and compacts over time, making it harder to remove. Same-week service is usually available for post-construction; we reserve a short-notice slot weekly for this.

Will you clean construction debris like drywall scraps and packaging?

Small debris and packaging, yes. Contractor-level debris removal (framing scraps, large drywall panels, trim offcuts) is not our service, that is the contractor's scope or a separate haul-away. If they left bulk material behind that should have been removed, tell us and we'll advise.

Does post-construction service work for a new build or only for remodels?

Both. New builds benefit the most actually, the fresh-material VOC load (new paint, new carpet, new cabinetry off-gassing) is higher than most remodels. We are taking on post-construction work across Southeastern Indiana as builders and homeowners contact us.
